Baleadas + Google Maps = BaleadaMaps

Despite the popularity of ballads in Honduras and their effect on the country’s informal economy, only a handful of franchises are formally constituted and positioned in the digital landscape. To incentivize inner tourism and build up the infrastructure of this macroeconomy we asked Hondurans all across the country to identify and share their favorite baleada’s spot on Google Maps. This way we placed baleadas on the map, and more importantly, carried it to the digital world.
